Quantum Mechanics Simulator for Dummies

This simple app visualizes a key quantum concept—the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. The left graph shows the probability distribution (a Gaussian) for a particle’s position. The right graph shows the corresponding momentum distribution (its Fourier transform). Adjust the slider to change the position “uncertainty” (σ). Notice that as the position distribution narrows, the momentum distribution widens, demonstrating their inverse relationship.

Schrödinger's Cat Simulator

In this playful simulation, the cat is initially in a quantum superposition—neither definitively alive nor dead. Click the "Open Box (Observe)" button to collapse the state and see whether the cat is alive or dead.
